N97.
N97, massively bulky smartphone that caught my attention after a long break from mobile phones update.
Curiously, it's a 5mp cam phone with 16M colors. Unit itself so far only comes in brown & white. What a setback? If it is 8mp, price will be increased, yup but nowadays, I will consider only 8mp cam phone since that's the high end cam fone in the market. However, that's for my use. For those who ain't so particular, a 5mp cam phone is considered relatively good enough for use.
Be frank, 5mp & 8mp, I don't really see much difference if it's for just capturing whatever junk moments. However, if for keepings, do go for a D.C. (dig. cam.). For convenience, do not make a fuss on cam phones after all, it's not to serve as a camera.
Back to N97, this smartphone is again a delay. Having 8mp M8800 Pixon from samsung in the market, N97 can make it up to the ranking. Function wise, Nokia phones are still stronger. If you prefer keypads N97 gives you. Camera & it's protection is a gain for N97 against iPhone. For those who like iPhone finger flippings, N97 gives it to you too! Having written so much, I think I might trade in LG Secret for N97... Hahaha!!! It's like having iPhone, the unique flipping, then a big plus 5mp cam with cover slider, keypad, woo, a stiff competition with iPhone.
I like sliders. However short battery life for such wonderful phones as always.
Amazed by N97. Competition always means improvement. I can't wait what Sony Ericssion might give next?
